One of the things I love best about PandaDoc, is our responsiveness to client requests and the dedication in making things happen. We meticulously track all feature requests and make sure that we don’t have a black hole of feature requests. It can take a little bit of time for things to come about. Our Development team does like to eat and sleep occasionally. But when they’re fully rested with a full belly, they put their pedal to the metal and crank out amazing features. In the last month, they released:
- New iOS and Android versions of the PandaDoc app
- Duplicating a ‘Content Block’
- Converting a ‘Content Block’ to a ‘Content Library’ item
- Adding non-PandaDoc files to PandaDoc templates/documents
- Sending multiple attachments to uploaded documents
- Automatic updates of CSV imported catalog items in templates
- Image Resizing
Increasing Efficiency of PandaDoc Mobile Apps
With the new in-app dashboard, you’re able to track the process of your personal deals and also your team’s. No longer will there be an excuse of someone losing track of their deal.
Duplicating and Converting a Content Block
Sometimes, a moment of writing brilliance occurs while you’re creating a brand new template or customizing a proposal to a prospective client. You and I know, that these moments cannot be controlled and can come at the most inopportune time. Now you can easily duplicate an awesome looking table or testimonial format. Simply click on the ‘Content Block’ > … > 'Duplicate Content Block.' It’s automatically dropped into the document/template/content library item you’re in.
Or did you create a piéce de résistance and want to reuse it in multiple templates or documents? If that’s the case, convert it into a ‘Content Library’ item. If you have a Business or Enterprise plan, you can easily convert a block so that it is reusable. With a ‘Content Library’ item, you can easily drag and drop a frequently used item.
Adding Non-PandaDoc files Now you can add non-PandaDoc files to documents, templates, and content-library items. Because it’s one of the most requested features, we released it for beta testing only. You can either add it to a PandaDoc document/template as a 'Content Block' or add it as an attachment. To see how the attachment feature works, check out the video below.
If you ask nicely, I’ll make sure our Technical Team can enable it for you. Just let us know through our in-app support button or by email at support@PandaDoc.com.
Automatic Update of Catalog Items
Tired of manually updating your templates whenever your catalog changes? Tedium is extinguished! Now whenever your catalog item is updated (manually or by CSV import), those items will automatically update in all your templates. Just let me know you’re interested in this beta feature and I’ll make the magic happen.
Image Resize and Text Wrap
Another huge PandaDoc feature that was released this month was ability add an image to a Content Block. You can also resize and move the image in the content block. If you haven’t tested it, you totally should!
As long as we keep our Development Team well rested and fed (with Bamboo of course), they’re going to be releasing beta integrations for Xero, Base, Zoho and Quickbooks Online really soon.
